When to use
When you have some findings that you want to communicate and get feedback on and alignment around.
Why you should
To ensure that the users most important perspectives have been heard and documented, and that everyone is onboard with these.
What you get
Important feedback on your insight work and hopefully alignment and onboarded stakeholders. This will make a good foundation for the ideation phase.
Steps to take
Place all the participants in groups. It's a good idea to have made cross disciplinary groups in advance.
Present your findings and needs. This is based on the work you have already done in the insight phase.
Present everyone in group. Take a few moments filling out details about the role and the main needs (5 min). Do a quick introduction around the table (2 min each).
Write down reactions to findings individually (10 min each), and present to the groups (5 min each).
Group discussion (20 min): What do you agree on? What do you disagree on? Not down most important reflections on sheet 3.
Summarise the group reflections and thoughts. Let them share with each other.

Make sure to think through the groups: Are the some strong stakeholders you know will be sceptical to your findings? Is there someone that is especially important to get on board with the findings?
