Steps to take
Interviewer should set a goal for what they want to learn. similar to a User Interview. Make sure that the goals are related to stakeholder interests.
Prepare questions that helps you reach the goal you set for yourself. The interview format is up to yourself to chose. Pick the format you are most comfortable with.
When you are ready, conduct the interview and summarize the insights you gathered.
