Draw a Value Propostion canvas on a whiteboard or paper. Alternatively, download template from link below.

Start by defining customer jobs in the customer profile: What tasks can customers complete with your product?

Add customer pains: What issues or problems might customers experience when using your product?

Add customer gains: Which benefits does your customer get when using your product?

Now move your attention to the Value proposition side and define your product and/or service.

Add the pain relievers: Focus on elements that removes a current frustration for the customer.

Define your gain creators: What adds additional value to the customers, how do you create customer gains?
